Job Responsibilities

At OutCast, we take care to make sure our 6 month internship program is a learning experience for you while you provide hands-on support for our teams. You will have the opportunity to interact with members of the agency at all levels and get to know all parts of the client accounts you work on. We also offer a comprehensive training program that gives a well-rounded view of basic PR skills and programs. It is an exceptional opportunity for those wishing to explore career opportunities in high-tech public relations.

Intern responsibilities include using on-line research tools to track client and competitor clips, producing clip reports, preparing press releases to be sent over the wire, develop press target lists, drafting pitches, tour scheduling, and general team and agency support.

Skills and Certifications

All applicants must be a college GRADUATE with a genuine interest in public relations, who is enthusiastic and hard-working, has an exceptional eye for detail, possesses the ability to prioritize in a fast paced environment, has good writing, proofreading and communication skills, is flexible and able to juggle many projects at once, computer literate and Internet savvy and has a strong understanding of and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
